Delete your Hi2link account

Hi2link automatically creates a pseudonymous account when the application is first set up. No civil name, phone number, email address or password is required.

You can request deletion of this account and its associated data directly from the application.

How to request deletion

  1. Open Hi2link.
  2. Open the application menu.
  3. Go to Data & Privacy.
  4. Select Delete my ID and confirm the request.

The request is associated with your pseudonymous Hi2link identifier. No web account or password is required.

Data covered by the request

Account deletion covers server data associated with the pseudonymous Hi2link profile, including data required to operate the profile such as the pseudonymous identifier, profile photo and associated public information.

Data stored only on your phone, such as local encounter history, personal notes and received cards, can be removed with the application's local data or when the application is uninstalled, subject to backup mechanisms provided by the operating system.

Data that may be retained

Certain technical or already aggregated statistical data may be retained when it no longer directly identifies your Hi2link profile. Information may also be retained where necessary for legal, security or service-integrity reasons.

Processing time

The deletion request is recorded by Hi2link and the associated server data is deleted when the request is processed. Hi2link does not state a specific processing period on this page until a guaranteed deletion timeframe has been defined.
